STGi invests in employee training, encourages growth, and allows employees to ascend into leadership roles. STGi’s growth over the past decade has created the need for more leaders within the organization and provided the opportunity for us to champion our exemplary staff, including current program directors, through promotions. We hire personnel with potential for growth and support them to develop in their career by supporting continuing education, new degrees, and professional licenses or certifications.
STGi fosters a culture in which Program Managers and Directors take time to get to know their team members, understand their capabilities, and take their growth aspirations into considerations. We empower staff to pursue their interests and develop; our personnel join existing efforts that complement their interest or enjoy the freedom to pursue projects of their own making.
Through my tenure here, STGi leadership has provided the latitude for growth and the setting to develop my management skills. As our healthcare portfolio grows, so does the need for leaders like me who provide both a technical and program management understanding. I started as a program management assistant on the DoD contract 10 years ago and now, I direct an entire healthcare portfolio. I welcome the opportunity to develop and watch my staff grow in an environment that facilitates and appreciates talent.
