STG Receives Special Award at Washington SmartCEO/Grant Thornton Future 50 Event
STG International, Inc. received a special recognition award during the Washington SmartCEO/Grant Thornton 2006 Future 50 awards banquet in January, 2007. Playing upon the events theme of ‘Riding the Hockey Stick’ of business growth, STG received a special ‘Hat Trick’ award for being the organization with the greatest employee growth in 2006. STG recently reached its 1,000 employee mark and is estimated to grow to over 1,200 in 2007. The growth is a result of new contract wins in such areas as medical staffing services for the Navy and highlights STG’s ability to provide hard-to-fill positions all across the country. A ‘Hat Trick’ is when a player scores three or more goals in a hockey game. As appreciation, fans throw their hats onto the ice.   02/02/07:  Washington Smart CEO Special Award
