Mission Synergy - U.S. Navy

Defining the Mission

Keeping the peace through maritime combat forces and military sustainment efforts, the U.S. Navy is an iconic, essential pillar of our national defense structure.

But with more than 300,000 Sailors in multiple theaters of combat, the Navy places inordinate demands on its medical personnel, particularly as Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) continue to rise in both frequency and severity.

When the challenges are abundant, the Navy calls in reinforcements—leaning heavily on partners like STGi to stabilize, modernize, and simplify medical logistics.

Sourcing the Mission

Since 2006, STGi has been actively supporting numerous Naval medical facilities, administering wide-ranging health services under Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) contracts.

Sourcing a multidisciplinary workforce of physicians, physician’s assistants, registered nurses, practical and vocational nurses, social workers, and medical technicians, STGi has made significant contributions to nearly all facets of the Naval medical infrastructure.

In fact, over the course of the contracts, STGi has leveraged its industry expertise and forward-thinking mentality to solve a host of the Navy’s thorniest logistical challenges.

Under the Northwest MATO, STGi was able to keep a Naval Hospital Women’s Clinic fully staffed, with 24/7 coverage shifts, despite its remote location—only accessible from the mainland by a single bridge.

Likewise, in the Northeast MATO, STGi ensured an immediate 100% fill rate under the Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (PHTBI) program, placing only psychiatric professionals with uncommon proficiency in the diagnosis and treatment of advanced intracranial injuries.

Today, as the MATO contracts progress, STGi will continue its dedication to proactive, specialized staff fulfillment for the Navy—forging a lasting partnership that ensures the long-term health, wellness, and productivity of our nation’s bravest servicemembers.
